Here is my review of the intermittent fasting program Eat-Stop-Eat. This program is turning in to one of the more controversial topics in the fitness and diet industry. I am going to tell you my thoughts on the subject so you can make an educated decision on this amazing tool for losing fat.

Before we get started, I want you to know that I own this program and have followed it for around 14 months now. This is not some made up review from some marketing guru, trying to convince you whether to buy something or not. I am always amused at all of the cookie cutter reviews from some of these guys. They usually talk about three or four products and lead you down the path to buy the most expensive one! Although there will be links to all of the products so they can happily take your money, regardless of what one you buy.

Eat-Stop-Eat is the best that I ever seen!

I bought this program with my own money, followed it, and to be honest made incredible results with it. I actually feel that after lifting weights for over 25 years and messing around with my diet just as long, that this is the best that I have ever seen. It is easy to follow and the results have been nothing short of incredible! I am 42 years old and my metabolism may not be what it used to be, but I am as lean as ever. I have had more people at the gym ask me what I am doing to lose the weight than I can count.

There are a lot of misconceptions and myths about intermittent fasting and how it should be done. The first initial thought that most people have about fasting, is that they could never go 24 hours without eating. It actually took my wife around six months before she tried it, even after seeing my results. The media and food industry have convinced us that we have to eat 6-8 meals a day or we will starve. There are rumors of losing muscle, going in to starvation mode, and many other myths that really aren’t true. Believe me, it is not as difficult as it sounds. I eat dinner, then don’t eat anything until dinner the next day. It’s not that hard because a big part of the fast, I am sleeping. I used to fast twice a week, but now I only do it every once in a while, especially if I get a little wild on the weekend! The one thing that you have to watch is that you can lose too much weight because it is so effective.

eat stop eatBrad Pilon, the creator of Eat-Stop-Eat worked in the supplement industry for years and has been around fitness and nutrition almost his whole life. He knew when he created this program that there would be a lot of confusion and resistance from the industry as a whole. The main thing to remember is that, the food and supplement industry does not make any money unless we as consumers buy their products. They can’t make money from us not eating. It’s as simple as that. If they were able to make a pill that produced the same results and benefits as intermittent fasting does, they would be dancing in the streets! They would make more money than you could imagine, because unlike most supplements, this program actually works!

Brad goes in to detail in this 114 page ebook about how to do this, the common myths and why they are incorrect, and how he created Eat-Stop-Eat. This is a very detailed book that will get you fired up about the food industry and ready to finally lose the fat without dieting ever again. An audio version of this book is included so you can listen to it on your Ipod or burn a cd and listen to it while driving or wherever. There is so much information, so it will be better to listen to it or read it a few times. I seem to learn something new each time I go through it.

Check out how much I was able to lose with Eat-Stop-Eat!

Okay, at this point, you can see that I am really passionate about this program. I want to explain how it affected me and the results that I’ve achieved so far. I started Eat-Stop-Eat in January 2010 at 201 lbs. I progressively lost weight each week and at the time of this writing, which is March 2011, I am currently 166.7 lbs. I am leaner than ever, actually have great abs, and look more muscular than I have in twenty years! Remember, I am 42 years old and have been working out and dieting on and off my whole life. Nothing that I ever tried has worked like this and I am so happy to never have to count calories or watch what I eat ever again.
